Holding company owned by Compagnia di San Paolo, Intesa Sanpaolo, Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Torino and Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Cuneo.
Equiter is an investor and financial advisor in the Infrastructure and Innovation sectors: it selects, arranges, executes and manages the so-called “Mission Related Investments” that have a socio-economic impact on the territory and promote its sustainable development in the long run, in accordance with the principles of impact finance.
After the successful experience of the “PPP Italia” Fund dedicated to infrastructure initiatives based on a public-private partnership, Equiter has been both advisor and anchor investor of the new “Equiter Infrastructure II” Fund (205 Mln Euro committed as of December 2022) targeting mid-market infrastructures in Italy selected through an investment policy inspired by innovation and SDGs pillars.
The Company is also the advisor of some important European financial instruments managed according to Operational Agreements with the European Investment Bank (EIB):
– 3 Urban Development Funds set up in 2011-2012 to manage EU Structural Funds under the “JESSICA – Joint European Support for Sustainable Investment in City Areas” Programme;
– RIF (“Research & Innovation Fund”) set up in 2018 within the National Operational Programme on R&I 2014-2020, managed by the Italian Ministry of University and Research (MUR);
– 2 Thematic Funds aimed at supporting sustainable tourism infrastructures (“Tourism Thematic Fund”) and social housing and urban regeneration (“Urban Integrated Plans) in the context of the Italian National Recovery and Resilience Plan (Piano Nazionale di Ripresa e Resilienza or “NRRP”).
Furthermore Equiter is active in the Venture Capital through “RIF-T”, an investment vehicle focused on the early-stage segment.
